Looks really sympathetic! You used foamcore and balsa sticks for the buildings?

I would recommend that you take a large scale photo of the village, so we can see how the buildings work together.

It looks like war came suddenly and without warning to this sleepy little countryside village, waking it from it's dream-like slumber.
After light shelling, the village has been evacuated and casualities and whatever belongings the villagers could haul have been taken away.

Now, this once beautiful village, slightly tarnished by war stands as aspiring battleground as armies deploy their troops in attempt to seize the village and thus, a strategic position for the upcoming winter.


....Well, that's what i think when i look at these buildings. They look like really classic, and dreamy french-styled buildings!

The back story is simple. Some bandits attacked the village and tried to burn it down, so people defended their homes and now are trying to repair what was damaged. The terrain was made for any miniature games, warhammer fantasy, 40k, warmachine and infinity.

For the wall of the big building I used black styro foam, but I would use blue (as I did on my small one) because it has more natural rock look when painted. For the wood I used ice cream sticks XD the summer was very hot XD
