warhammer armies: Far north, fluffi osasto
Far in the north, across the Norscan mountains, lies an unexplored land. This land is not yet overrun by the power of Chaos, and i doubt it will not. For this land is populated by people known as Finns. These people are raised in the cold wilderness of Norsca, and are even braver and tougher than the men of Kislev. If one of their their villages are attacked by enemies, the Fins shall defend it to death if have to.
DAY 7. Today i started my journey in the lands of the Far North, to find the Finns' village. The Norse Dwarfs had told me about some Marauders of Chaos raiding nearby villages. I hope that my path does not cross with theirs.
I have seen many strange creatures during my journeys all over the Old World, but i have never seen anything like this before. A group of Finns are herding a group of animals, which remind me of deers of Old World. But these creatures are different. They have grey hair and skin, and are more tougher. The Finns who were herding them told me that they sometimes ride these so-called 'reindeers' into battle, where they are a great asset to the Finns.
As the day turned to dusk, i spotted smoke rising from the horizon. As i rushed my mules, i heard sounds of battle. I climbed up the hill, and i saw the Finns' village. The Chaos Marauders had attacked there, and that was their last one. All the Marauders lay dead on the ground, and only a few of the Finns. The Finns welcomed me as a friend, as they had got a message from the Norse Dwarfs that i was coming.
They offered me a possibility to be a part of a common rite here in Far North. The Finns had a small cottage in the centre of the village. It had no windows at all. The Finns' chieftain told me that it was called 'Sauna'. It was heated up into extremely hot temperatures, and men went there naked. Only cloth they had on was a towel around their hips. They also throwed water on the device that warmed up the Sauna, called 'kiuas' in the Finns' language. I decided to be a part this rite, so i went in. At first it felt uncomfortable, but when one man throwed water on the kiuas, it felt like all the pain was gone and my wounds healed.
After Sauna, i asked the Finns where to go next? They promised to give someone to escort me further to the north, to the Lapponian village. I shall head there tomorrow, and Sigmar protect me.

"Licence to screw up Commander, you heard it straight from the ship!" - Joker, Mass Effect 2
Hmm... Jotain tämäntyylistä:
The Finns are strange people indeed. Their gods are old and powerful, and their land is harsh and cold. The foul powers of chaos seem to have no effect to these barbaric people. Their traditions are odd, and they hold nature in great respect.

Hmm.. Jotain syntyi shamaaneista. Katsokaa ja arvostelkaa.
Shamans
The Finnish shamans are rare breed. They use wild and powerful magic of nature, and draw their powers from swamps, great woodlands and snowy mountains, unlike most wizards, who draw their powers from the Winds of Magic. Some say that they can change solid ground into deep swamp with one word. They have great magical artefacts, the most famous being the Great Witchdrums, wich contain enormous powers.

My journies in Far North
DAY 6. As the ship that had left from L'Anguille reached the coast of Norsca, i looked towards the shore. The land looked cold and desolate. And by Sigmar, 'twas very cold land indeed. For six days that our ship had sailed the Sea of Chaos, i had trembled in cold. But finally we reached the Far North.
Many mysterious tales i have heard of these lands. I've heard that even the sinister Elven folk of Naggaroth fear to come here during their raids in the Old World. For the people that live in Far North, commonly known as Finns, have lived in this cold, desolate and harsh climate for thousands of years. They have survived the last great invasion of Chaos, the very same invasion that sacked and burnt the city of Praag and the Dwarf stronghold of Karak-Vlag. The Finns are definitely the most resilient, bravest and toughest of all the people in the known world.
As we reached the shore, a group of Norscan Dwarfs had come to meet us. As i talked with them, they told me that there's an Finn village about twenty-five miles to the north. I stayed the night in the Dwarfs' camp. They provided me with the finest Dwarven Ale, brewed by Josef Bugman himself, and salted meat. They also gave me a couple of mules to carry my things. Never have i heard that Norse Dwarfs have such hospitality. Tomorrow i shall head north to reach the village of the Finns.

Voisin itsekin tulla tähän mukaan.
Finnish Torppa leader looked at the closing horde of Chaos Marauders. He looked at his army which was much smaller than the ravaging horde that was marching towards them.
They were close to a forest in his left side. They were standing in snow-covered hills and definetly had an edge on the coming battle.
"Laplanders," Torppa leader Matti shouted. "give those guys a volley."
The laplander hunting parties emerged from the armys middle and with their leaders, the "Mosquitos dooms" they loosed their arrows on the horde approaching them. Many died to the laplanders skill, and soon another volley of arrows was released to the chaos scum.
The marauders were close, too close. Matti drawed his sword.
"Reindeer cavalry and sleighs, attack to the side of the enemy!"
The reindeers galloped to the enemys side and Finns were ready to attack.
"Finns, attack!" shouted Matti and Finns charged towards the enemy, the hakkapeliittas shouted "Hakkaa päälle!"
Shamans spelled doom to the enemy as one of the marauder regiments sank into a sudden swamp and another was attacked by mosquitos.
Savonians, Botnians, Laplanders, Karelians, Finns, all fought side by side. Marauders were suprised by the fury of the attack, and many fell to the frenzy of Ison Talon Antti and his Puukkojunkkari´s.
Matti fell another marauder with a swoop of his sword. He slew two with a backhand strike which disconnected their heads.
Kaarpasi-warrior´s were ar his side, with only their towel on. They smashed their enemies with their mighty 8-foot logs.
At the enemys rear, a sudden attack came in form of skimen. They attacked the enemys rear and the marauders were losing the battle.
The last strike came from the left side of the enemy, some brave Finns throwed satchel charges at their enemies, and many of them burned badly and died.
The Marauders went running in not so great horde as before.
Matti wiped the blood from his sword to a cloth of his enemy. Many marauders lay dead on the field, and only several finns. Marauders and underestimated the finns and now payed for it, with their lives.
They should know that finns always defended their torppa, no matter what. Nobody would take it from them.
The snow was covered with blood, blood from the finns and marauders. They paid their existence with blood. There would come more marauders, and they would stop their attack at any cost. This had continued for thousands of years. But someday, the Chaos might win, and Finns would not exist any more on these cold, barren lands.
Karpaasi-warrior came to his side and belched.
"Want to go to the sauna-bath?" Karpaasi said.
Matti agreed, it was a tradition, after the battle; a good sauna-bath.

Kuka on vapaaehtoinen?
Pamp-pu, I'm counting on you!
Sori Andromedus, Pamp-pu kerkesi ensin...
