Hello. I believe there will be somebody willing to translate the rules pack into English. I can do it too, if nobody else has the interest to do so. You want both the FB and 40k rules or just either one of them?

i play both FB and 40k
but 1750pts is too much for bringing with me so I'd stop with 2000pys of FB

Kaipa se Kislevin sisällyttäminen sallittuihin armeijoihin tarkoittaa juurikin sitä. Ei kai sitä kukaan hullu itseni lisäksi stand alone -armeijana pelaa.

2- what exactly are those markers? and what are their dimensions?
3- did i get it right that there are no restrictions on army list?
4- what kind of armies are usual here? heavy magic?

Sääntöhän sanoo jotta maaorjien liput eivät anna yhtään ylimääräistä VP:tä jos ne haltuunotetaan... tulkinnanvaraa on.

1: You get 0-3 tournament points for wysiwyg - 0 points means your army looks roughly the same as the units you have marked in your list (Using unarmoured skeleton-models as ones armoured isn't so bad, so I bet they can be used), 3 points is for absolute wysiwyg e. g., you have to model all magic items (including dispel scrolls), warpaints etc.
2: Dimensions are 20x20mm - 60x60mm
3: Nothing radical - you must have 4 scoring units in your army (unit with unit strenght 5+, single models don't count). And Thorek can use his re-roll only once.
4: Cheesy

As for the markers, you build them by yourself. The points you are awarded from them depend on how well they're done and how well they fit with your army.

Thorek is toned down. His not that hot with only one re-roll per game.

As for counters, you might want to think of something that stands out a bit more, and is smaller (base-size). A tree-stump should do fine. Maybe with some pretty flowers.

Yea, anything that fits the theme of your army. So for example, tombstones and graves for undead, or perhaps a herdstone for beastmen, warpstone chunk for skaven etc.

In short, anything that has a base of said size and is something related to the looks, ideologies, homeland terrain and background story of your army. The more creative, the better, of course. On the other hand, you might just as well bring adequately sized pieces of cardboard, but don't expect to get army points or respect from them.

From spectators point of view, top-armies were in the last fanatic: Gunline-empire(steam tanks, maybe), Thorek-powered gunline of dwarfs, many wood elves, and chaos. Of course many played other armies too.

It's considered fashionable to cry on foreign forums how tough finnish metagame is, especially among the younger players. They do that to make their meager achievements more impressive. Apparently a foreigner on finnish forum also counts as proper target for this.

You can probably ignore scared teenagers exaggerating things. There will be the usual number of over the top armies, standard amount of tough armies and most importantly, swarms of Normal Armies. But if you choose to bring effective army of whatever flavour, nobody will consider it bad form.

Tokassa pelissä ratsu, sotavaunu tai hirviö jää pois pelistä. Eli treeman ancient kompastuu omaan oveluuteensa ja jää kentän ulkopuolelle ? Mutta ei varmaan koske ogre charruja?

Minulla on butchereille taika markkereita, jotka ovat aika simppelin näköisiä. Ne ovat normaaleja mustia teksturoimattomia baseja, joilla on värikäs kivi. Lasketaanko ne teksturoimattomiksi jalustoiksi ja nollaavatko ne pisteet siltä osiolta?

2spjarv: well, I'm not afraid of cheese or beard i just want to know what to be prepared to. lots of thoreks is one and lots 2nd Slaaans is different. lots of wood elfs? well, it will depend on terrain - if there will be LOTS of forest then bringing my dwarf army (anvil yes, thorek - no) is not too good option...

I will probably be playing with my balanced Dark Elves with nothing too cheesy.
I've noticed that one can have fun and stand a chance playing in a tourney with a so called "normal" list instead of classic cheesy min-max list, but it depends of a person.
Of course you have to have competitive list if you don't like an idea of being massacred in 4 turns. All-infantry dwarves won't be fun to play in this tourney for example.
As said before, there is lots of normal lists being played too so you should not be too afraid of meeting cheesy or otherwise not-so-fun-to-play-against armies.

Those kids should just learn to bend over and take it without unseemly whimpering or squirming. Like us older gentlemen. The national metagame may be painfully hard, but it can be accommodated with suitable alcohol-based lubricants.
