Fingol Duskblade, Shadow Avenger of Nagarythe
In the Shadowlands, the name Duskblade is spoken with hushed respect. The tales of this brave and skilled warrior are many, his exploits near legendary among the Shadow Elves. He is believed to be the avatar of the trickster god Loec in his role as a avenger, emerging amongst the shadows and striking swiftly with his two-handed sword, bringing judgement to all defilers of peace and serenity before misappearing in the darkness again. A true warrior of Shadow, Fingol seems merged with his element; he has become almost one with the darkness around him. This makes him a scary opponent because he can alter his appearance to some extent and is able to create illusions and acts of trickery on his foes. He is the Shadow between the L ight of the Asur and the Darkness of the Druchii and shall defend the shores of the Shadowlands as long as it takes to repel the Dark Elf threat completely.
Fingol Duskblade is the legendary Shadow Avengerer of Nagarythe. He can be taken as two Hero choice in a High Elf army but he can never be the armys General.

Shadow Avenger of Loec
Fingol is the Shadow Avengerer of Nagarythe and can blend into the shadows and alter his appearance at his will.
Due to his blending with the shadows Fingol Duskblade's enemies either shooting at him or fighting in close combat with him suffer a –1 to hit. In addition, Fingol is a bitter protector of his realm, therefore he is affected by Hatred, which upgrades to Burning Hatred (re-roll to hit every close combat phase) if he’s fighting Dark Elves. He can also Scout (he has the same Scounting rules as Wood Elf Waywatchers) but cannot join any units, he's a loner.
Blessings of Loec
Fingol is a creature of Elf and Shadow combined and a devote follower of Loec, the trickster god.
His unyielding feeling of duty towards his patron god causes Loec to smile upon his devoted follower.
Fingol has a 4+ Ward save.
Sword of Loec
No one except Fingol knows the origins of this finely crafted and seemingly ancient sword. It is rumoured that it is a gift from Loec himself, given to his favoured follower and avenger of the Shadowlands. Whatever the truth, the sword is an amazing weapon and very deadly in the hands of the Shadow Avenger.
The Sword of Loec is a two-handed weapon. It’s blade is so keen that enemies must deduct a –2 from their armour save value (-3 in total with the Strenght 4) and in addition, it confers Fingol Killing Blow attacks.
Sniper of the shadows
Fingol has perfected his art of archery sniping various enemies in the hills and forests of Nagarythe.
